We look back on months of preparation, countless talks, fiery discussions, heavy decisions an loads of fun. Now we are just a few brush strokes far from the next IBUg and tension increases. This is what we can tell you so far: Traditionally we stay in West-Saxony. For the 11th edition of the IBUg the festival goes down in the city of Limbach-Oberfrohna. Also the last weekend of August, from the 26th tot he 28th of August, is set. We´ve got a beautiful area this year and go back to where the IBUg started: the holy halls of long forgotten places, a real brownfield! All the artists are invited already. Besides IBUg-family members and well known faces we are happy to see loads of new talents this year. As soon as they confirm we´ll send a list with many promising names on. Stay tuned!
The decision has been made! After receiving numerous applications from around the world, we finally made our choice for the IBUg artists of 2016.
The large number of this year’s applications was overwhelming. At the same time we are amazed about how popular our festival has become in its eleventh year. When selecting the artists we always try to keep a balance between artists who have already been part of the IBUg and new ones. And it was a hard choice!
Which artists will be at of the 2016 IBUg will be published soon. Stay tuned!
Another year, another IBUg! Our festival is going down in West-Saxony again this summer at the end of August. If you want to be part of this urban art experience as an artist, this is your chance!
